Last week, our team joined the Industry Tree Planting Day 2025, hosted by With Love Queenstown and the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust. It was a fantastic opportunity to give back to the beautiful environment we’re lucky to call home.

At Watersports Ltd, we spend every day on the water surrounded by Queenstown’s incredible natural scenery, so looking after it is something we take seriously. Taking part in this initiative was our way of contributing to the restoration and protection of the local ecosystem that makes this place so special.

The day was full of good vibes, teamwork, and muddy hands! We planted countless native trees and shrubs, helping to support local biodiversity and future-proof the area for generations to come. The organisers kept everyone’s spirits high with a delicious BBQ lunch and an afternoon tea filled with sweet treats. The perfect fuel for a day of hard work!

It was also a great chance to connect with other local businesses and community members who share the same passion for protecting Queenstown’s natural beauty. The energy and camaraderie were inspiring, and we left feeling proud of what we’d achieved together.
